 Dough Kneaded Lightly |
This is the basic recipe for Short Crust Pastry. The ingredients listed are enough for the top and bottom of a normal size pie plate. |
- 8 ozs. Flour - Any will do.
- 2 ozs. Marg
- 2 ozs. Lard.
- Cut the fats into smallish bits.
- Lightly and quickly rub the fats into the flour with your fingertips.

Dough Kneaded Lightly
*If you want to use brown/wholemeal flour I would suggest using half brown and half white.
- Add a little cold water and mix with a knife.
- Knead lightly into a ball. Use now or put in the fridge.
